Dear NonnieDear Nonnie,

I'm sorry
for going months without visiting you
even though I knew you'd probably...pass soon.
And then you did.

And it was all just procrastination, short-sightedness,
no lack of love, but
I wish I had been there when my conscience nibbled the words
"VISIT YOUR GRANDMOTHER"
on the back of my skull.

(I can still picture you sitting there among the flowery, coldly warm decor,
scared and confused and lonely.
It's okay - Dad and Uncle Scott visit her almost every day,
and I'll get around to it soon.)

Lantern Soul reference: [link]

This is supposed to be my particular lantern soul character...the only way to tell is that she always carries the same lantern with the same symbol on the inside.
